Here's What to Expect During Your Body Sculpting Treatment

You’re at a healthy weight, you eat right, and you exercise regularly. Despite following all the rules and doing everything right, you may not be able to get rid of your saddle bags or belly flab.

Given all your efforts and struggles, you’ve finally decided to consider body-sculpting treatment.

At our medical spa in Harlingen, Texas, Dr. Lena Speck Hopkins has helped many people get rid of those stubborn pockets of fat with body-sculpting treatments.

We want you to know what to expect from body sculpting now that you’ve decided it’s the best way to achieve your goals.

WarmSculpting™ with SculpSure®

At our medical spa, we use the SculpSure device for body-sculpting treatments. The innovative body-contouring system uses targeted laser energy to destroy the unwanted pockets of fat that won’t budge with diet and exercise.

During your WarmSculpting treatment, we can reduce the amount of fat in the treated area by as much as 24% after one session. We offer WarmSculpting with SculpSure to trim and slim many areas of the body, including:

Your WarmSculpting treatment works by raising the temperature of the unwanted fat cells without affecting your skin or any other surrounding tissue. Increasing the temperature of the fat cells destroys the integrity of the cell, and your body naturally eliminates it.

What to expect during body-sculpting treatment

Your WarmSculpting with SculpSure treatment sounds as luxurious and relaxing as the name implies. During your body-contouring session you may feel an intermittent warming and tingling sensation that most people tolerate well.

If you’re feeling at all anxious about your body-sculpting treatment, we offer Nitronox™ to help you feel more relaxed. The inhaled analgesic contains a mix of nitrous oxide and oxygen and minimizes discomfort, as well as anxiety.

After your body-sculpting treatment you can resume your usual activities, whether you need to get back to the office or hit the gym.

When to expect results from your body sculpting

It takes your body some time to process and eliminate the fat cells destroyed by our treatments with SculpSure. However, you should start to notice an improvement in your shape within six weeks after your session. Optimal results are usually seen after 12 weeks.

Once those fat cells are gone, they never come back. However, we encourage you to continue your healthy diet and exercise routine to maintain results. You may have fewer fat cells, but the ones left behind can grow if you consume more calories than your body burns.

Our body-sculpting treatments are relaxing and quick and require no downtime. To schedule a consultation to learn more about WarmSculpting with SculpSure, contact us today by calling the office or using the online booking tool.
